South Africa defeated Pakistan in back-to-back games in the ongoing T20I series. In the opening game of the series, Pakistan lacked intent and character, resulting in an 11-run defeat while in the second, the bowling unit failed to live up to the potential but the batting unit delivered well. However, captain Mohammad Rizwan needs significant improvement to be effective in T20 cricket.
The Proteas, on the other hand, are in a very good spot. In the first T20I, David Miller played a sensational knock, while in the second, Reeza Hendricks hit a terrific century and Rassie van der Dussen was extremely effective and scored a half-century. They will be confident of their chances ahead of the third T20I, that’s slated to take place at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on December 14.
