India Champions (IND C) lock horns with Australia Champions (AUS C) in the opening game of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2026 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Saturday, October 3.
Yuvraj Singh is all set to lead the India Champions once again in the WCL 2026. The tournament is being played in the UAE for the first time. India Champions won the inaugural season of the competition under Yuvraj’s astute leadership. Apart from Yuvraj, stalwarts like Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh are also a part of the line-up.
As far as Australia are concerned, they will look to win the league for the first time. David Warner will be leading the team this season. He will open the batting alongside his former opening partner in Test matches, Usman Khawaja. Ben Hilfenhaus, Nathan Coulter-Nile, and Kane Richardson are a few bowlers to watch out for.
