The time has come for the series decider for the New Zealand and Sri Lanka Women’s ODI series which will be played at the University Oval in Dunedin. This will be a do-or-die game for both teams who will be playing for the series in the upcoming match which will be played on March 18.
The New Zealand Women might have had a disappointing game in the opening game of the T20I series where they were completely outdone by the visitors but managed to make a comeback in the second game to stay alive in the series. The Suzie Bates-led side would want to be at their best in the upcoming match.
The Sri Lanka Women’s team might have been happy with the way they started in the first game, especially after their disappointing run in the ODI series but the second T20I brought out the flaws within the team once again. However, Chamari Athapaththu and her troupe will still believe they can finish this tour on a positive note.

Pitch Report
The University Oval is another balanced pitch that will give some help to both the batters and the bowlers. There have been some big scores on this surface as well. The best option for the skippers will be to bowl first on this track and restrict the team to a modest total which they can chase down.
