Franchise Multan Sultans (MUL) will take on Peshawar Zalmi (PES) in Match 9 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, April 19.

Both teams have not had ideal starts in PSL 2025. Multan Sultans are placed at No. 5 on the points table, having lost both their games so far this season. Their first defeat came against Karachi Kings by four wickets, and the Mohammad Rizwan-led side suffered a 47-run loss in their most recent fixture against Islamabad United.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi have also suffered two defeats from two matches, and an inferior net run rate sees them sitting at the bottom of the points table. Babar Azam’s men lost to Quetta Gladiators by 80 runs and to Islamabad United by 102 runs, and their net run rate has really taken a beating.

Both teams will look to get off the mark on Saturday, and fans can expect a humdinger of a contest at the iconic venue.
